The Green Bay Packers are in the NFC Championship Game this Sunday! To get you in the spirit, Door Community Auditorium is hosting a Packer’s Pep Rally to kick off their Winter Season of Programming.
This Friday night, January 16 at 7 PM, join us (dressed in your Packer’s finest) to send our team off to the NFC Championship Game in Seattle with a pep rally and Movies at the Door screening.
The pep rally will feature Green Bay Packer’s Golden Girl, Mary Jane van Duyse Sorgel, who will be on hand to lead a cheer, to talk about her time with the Packers, and sign autographs.
The film screening, which is freewill to the public, features the Packer’s fan documentary, Extreme, Loyal, Victorious, a documentary that searched for Green Bay Packers fanatics shortly before training camp started July, 2010. The goal was simple; Find the most extreme, loyal, and passionate Packers fans, and ask them to share their stories. The element of the film that could have never been predicted, was that the Green Bay Packers would become Super Bowl Champions for the first time in 15 years. Can we do it again this year? Come out Friday and Back the Pack!
Also this weekend at DCA, on Saturday Jan 17, a St. Norbert College Distinguished lecture with Dr. Ozom Yesiltas on the ISIS Threat at 9 AM, and an intimate Coffeehouse Concert with Hans Christian at 7 PM. Tickets for the Coffeehouse Concert are $15. Both the Movies at the Door Screening and the St. Norbert Lecture are free to the public. Freewill donations are encouraged.
For a full season’s list of Movies at the Door, St. Norbert College Distinguished Lecture Series, and Coffeehouse Concerts, please visit our website at www.dcauditorium.org.
Hope to see you here this weekend as we send our Packers off in style, and kick off our Winter Season of Programming!
