Cherryholmes is a bright shining star on the bluegrass horizon.  Since making their first appearance on the Grand Ole Opry in 2003, the family of six has dedicated themselves to preserving the band’s traditional style of bluegrass.  Father Jere, mother Sandy, and their four children perform music with their trademark energy.  Family members perform on a variety of instruments--including the guitar, mandolin, fiddle, banjo, and up-right bass—accompanied by amazing vocals.  Cherryholmes has won countless recognitions since emerging on the bluegrass scene, including the 2004 & 2005 Society for the Preservation of Bluegrass Music of America award for “Entertainers of the year.”
