The Dukes of Dixieland

For nearly three decades, The Dukes of Dixieland have performed jazz in the American tradition.  The oldest continuing jazz band in New Orleans, the six-member group is “cool,” bluesy, bright, and brassy.  Weaving together the essence of Dixieland jazz, their music is a blending of pop, gospel, country, and the sounds of New Orleans.  During the course of their career, The Dukes of Dixieland have performed with Ella Fitzgerald, Pete Fountain, Al Hirt, and Woody Herman.
