The Makem Brothers

Following in the Irish heritage of their grandmother, the legendary Sarah, and their father, Celtic music icon Tommy, the Makem Brothers perform the traditional folk music of their homeland Ireland, but with “a wee bit of a bite.”  Singing sublime three-part harmonies backed by their own fine instrumentals - the guitar, bass, banjo, mandolin, bodhran, and bouzouki, the Makem Brothers provide a seamless performance.  With a mix of Irish, Scottish, and Welsh folk songs, the trio transports their audience across the sea, singing storytelling ballads of miners, sailors, fishermen, and mill workers.  The Spain Brothers, Mickey and Liam, will join the Makem Brothers on stage for this performance.
