DOOR COMMUNITY AUDITORIUM ANNOUNCES 20TH ANNIVERSARY MAIN STAGE SEASON
The Door Community Auditorium, Door County’s year-round venue for performing arts, entertainment, cultural and educational activities, announces its 20th Anniversary 2011 Main Stage Season. Season highlights include performances by Lee Ann Womack, Indigo Girls, Jeff Tweedy of Wilco, Herman’s Hermits Starring Peter Noone, Ruthie Foster and Leo Kottke. A full season line-up, including free movies and events hosted by community partners like Peninsula Music Festival and American Folklore Theatre, appears on DCA’s redesigned website, www.dcauditorium.org.
Individuals interested in receiving priority ticketing privileges, sponsoring shows or volunteering are encouraged to call the Box Office at 920.868.2728. Preview ticket sales for DCA’s Auditorium Society Members, sponsors and volunteers begin Monday, May 9th. General public sales begin on Monday, May 16th.
DCA executive director, Cari Lewis McMahon writes, “The auditorium’s board and staff are excited to join the community in celebrating DCA’s 20th Anniversary. This milestone gives us a chance to recognize the community’s vision, dedication and hard work. It presents an occasion to acknowledge and celebrate two decades of unforgettable experiences and community fellowship. And, the commemoration provides an opportunity for champions of the auditorium to dream and envision how we will best serve Door County in the future.”
