Volunteer Sign-Up

Event Volunteers

Our Event Volunteers assist on performance day to ensure everything runs smoothly and our patrons have a positive, memorable experience! Event Volunteers assist in the following areas:

USHERS

Arrive 90 minutes before the performance and leave 15 minutes after the performance ends.

Place the program insert in playbill books before the show begins, greet and seat patrons, assist with emergency procedures as needed, prevent patrons from going backstage unless invited, assist with event concessions and merchandise sales.

PARKING LOT ATTENDANT

Arrive at designated time to direct traffic in the parking areas before shows and for 10 minutes after the show has begun.

DCA General Volunteers

Your skills help make our ongoing operations seamless.

Load in/load out equipment, help with security, and perform miscellaneous backstage duties.
Posters, rack cards, and brochures publicizing Door Community Auditorium events and programming are distributed to commercial establishments throughout the area. We need volunteers to drop-off marketing collateral throughout Door County and follow-up regularly to ensure materials are current.
Volunteers help with planting and watering flowers, weeding, and other basic gardening tasks to keep our grounds looking beautiful.
