The Cramer Exchange officially opened with the kick-off of the 2026-2027 Season, Friday, June 12, 2026.

Our new venue supports, strengthens, and sustains the original dream of DCA. The Cramer Exchange’s gathering hall complements the existing auditorium and provides a more intimate setting for concerts, lectures, movies, and breaking bread. The patio, bar, and fire ring offer a physical invitation to share music, drinks, and stories. The entire complex supports learning, deep listening, dancing, and socializing with its flexible and thoughtful amenities. And, the education wing will plant seeds for the future. We are excited to share it all with you.

This summer, prior to all DCA-presented performances, we present free, pre-show music performed by local musicians. Cold beverages and fun snacks are available for purchase. We also host a few post-show parties. The Cramer Exchange’s first season includes magic, comedy, movies, lectures, arts instruction for young and old, concerts in the round, private events, and performances paired with food. We are intentionally experimenting with programming, A/V capacities, and audience configuration to gauge what works best in the space. Results will inform future seasons.

As we open with this special season, we continue to raise funds to close our campaign and address the finishing touches. Donations of all sizes are welcomed and needed and will be listed alphabetically in the main entrance. We’d love to add your name to our community of supporters.
