Since 2019, the Swingin' Door Big Band has been delighting audiences with performances of classic big band charts from the 1930s and '40s. An offshoot of Peninsula Symphonic Band, the group was founded by Music Director Jason Palmer and his wife Jamie, with a mission to raise scholarship funds for local students. Since its inception, the band has distributed over $8,000 in scholarships, supporting student and adult musicians in the Door County community. Vocalists Jamie Palmer, Claire Morken, and Donna Ruzicka make up the Andrews Sisters-inspired trio, Company B, who bring an extra layer of vintage charm to every performance.
