Since their inception in 2018, Green Bay, Wisconsin-based band PEGASIS has allowed themselves the freedom to make musical art not tied down by labels or genres, something they call discord in synergy – consciously uniting seemingly opposing elements and textures. With shimmering vocal harmonies, pulsing rhythms, tight arrangements, musical virtuosity, and vibrant dynamics, PEGASIS provides lush soundscapes that captivate all types of listeners and make the complex sound (and look) easy. Hopping between jazz, funk, R&B, pop, world, Latin, and everything in between, PEGASIS gives its audiences a diverse and eclectic vibe, keeping them on the edge of their seats.

Created by Dominican sisters Rissel (vocals/keys), Yaina (vocals), and Marvelis (vocals) Peguero Almonte, alongside Matt Hillman (guitar), their journey led them to the addition of fellow Green Bay natives, Tony Pesavento (bass) and Jeremy Seelig (drums) in 2023. Since then, the band has taken their creative endeavors to the next level, working as a team, watering their musical seeds, and bringing them to life.

Partnered with lyrics in both English and Spanish, diving deep into personal issues from lived experiences and relevant social issues, PEGASIS performances encourage the audience to stop, take a deep breath, and listen with open hearts and minds.
