“Carves out a niche that is completely its own, one in which nobody but the artists themselves could be an expert.” – I Care if You Listen
ShoutHouse is a New York City-based collective of musicians who bring together complex grooves, poetic hip-hop, high-octane vocals, and instrumental solos in a way that is delightfully new and entirely unexpected. The brainchild of composer/pianist Will Healy, ShoutHouse’s sound is an “absolutely unique blend of postrock, art-rock, and indie classical styles” (New York Music Daily), with a core roster of musicians from many corners of the NYC music scene. Ted Gioia, author of The History of Jazz, called ShoutHouse “a revelation . . . one of the most creative projects you’ll hear all year.”
