Door Community Auditorium is thrilled to kick off its 2026 Mainstage Season with The Wallflowers, one of the defining rock bands of the 1990s.

This performance is part of The Wallflowers’ 30th Anniversary Tour of their landmark album Bringing Down the Horse, which the band will perform in its entirety (and in sequence!). Originally released in 1996, Bringing Down the Horse was both a critical and commercial triumph, peaking at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 and earning quadruple-platinum certification. The album produced four major hit singles, including “One Headlight,” “6th Avenue Heartache,” “The Difference,” and “Three Marlenas,” and helped define a generation of American rock.

In addition to Bringing Down the Horse, the evening will feature a special tribute performance honoring the 50th anniversary of Long After Dark by Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, also performed in full. This unique format makes the concert a rare two-album evening, offering audiences the opportunity to experience two influential records in one night.

Fronted by Jakob Dylan, The Wallflowers have spent more than three decades touring and recording, earning multiple Grammy Awards and nominations along the way. Dylan’s career also includes collaborations with artists such as Neil Young, Eric Clapton, Beck, Cat Power, Norah Jones, Regina Spektor, and others, as well as contributions to film and television soundtracks, including Godzilla and Friday Night Lights. In recent years, The Wallflowers have toured in support of Eric Clapton and shared stages with The Who and The Rolling Stones.
