Freewill donations APPRECIATED

The 2026 Door County Talks Series, Sponsored by Cynthia and Tom LaConte, will explore the concept of Blue Zones, a term coined and trademarked by Author Dan Buettner. Blue Zones refers to regions in the world where people live to or beyond the age of 100 without the prevalence of degenerative aging diseases prevalent in many parts of the world.

The series, which will comprise four separate speaker events, is free, with donations gladly accepted.  Attendees are encouraged but not required to watch the Netflix series, Live to 100: Secrets of the Blue Zones, before attending the events.

Dietician Jennifer Sherman received a Master’s Degree in Human Nutrition from the University of Illinois at Chicago after working as an engineer for over 20 years. Changing her diet changed her life, and she now helps clients do the same. Jennifer’s unique background and passion for good nutrition are put to use helping others navigate the often overwhelming number of food-related decisions we make each day.
