At this festive holiday concert, Door County’s lauded—and always fun—piano duo, Colin Welford and Jodie DeSalvo, will be joined by Jonathan Bass, a superb young Washington Island pianist who will keep both his elders on their musical toes. Welford and DeSalvo both bring decades of performance experience and international performance credits to the DCA stage; Bass has also attracted international attention for his playing despite his youth. The performance will include the unique double piano, nicknamed “Omega,” built on Washington Island by Door County’s own Peter Nehlsen. A lighthearted and virtuosic Christmas event.
